Minimal frame rate in CSGO despite good hardware
Minimal frame rate in CSGO despite good hardware
Here’s a revised version of your message:
I’m using an RTX3060 Ti, an i5-12400F, and 2x16GB DDR4 3200Mhz RAM. I’ve noticed my gameplay drops to around 200–300 FPS in CS:GO, which isn’t smooth. It’s not just the settings—my FPS stays the same across different resolutions and configurations. I’ve tried many fixes but nothing seems to help. Could someone suggest a solution?
XMP not found in BIOS settings, but I enabled it and changing it didn't make any difference.
You're asking about improving performance—either boosting frames per second or ensuring smoother gameplay.
With this spec I expect to receive both items, by the way I just added Fortnite to check its performance and noticed my CPU usage hits 100% even at low settings. I assumed I’d just point that out.
I did it, even with a Gsync display, I kept my framerate at 3 frames per refresh. It’s a typical method to reduce stutter. I use a 144Hz monitor (not overclocked to 165Hz, that’s unnecessary) and this is how my Nvidia control panel appears. It feels very fluid in all games. If you’re using a 165Hz monitor, try lowering the refresh rate to 162 or 141 on a 144Hz setup. I use a 4080 but don’t need 700 frames in Diablo 2. Make sure Gsync is enabled when you do this.
