Have anyone tried using mineOS to host a Minecraft server on an idle computer? I'm facing issues with mods, particularly with bigger mod sets.

Don't have any information about MineOS. It would be useful to know the version of Minecraft you're using for both the server and client sides. If you're aiming for the latest 1.15.2, ensure your system meets the minimum requirements—some updates require at least 8GB RAM, but running a local LAN server needs around 16GB or more. Let me know if you need further guidance.
