With an AMD Ryzen 8320 at 4.4GHz and an Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 STRIX OC with 2GB of memory, along with 8GB of 1866MHz RAM, my Minecraft frame rates are consistently limited to 30 regardless of settings.
Verify your configurations and determine if disabling vertical synchronization resolves the issue.
Additionally, investigate whether a fixed frame rate limit is set to 30 frames per second.
Check your Nvidia Control Panel, under 3D Settings, to confirm whether Adaptive VSync (with a half refresh rate) is enabled or disabled.
Turn it off.
If it’s not activated within general options, review the adjacent section, Program settings, as you may have chosen Minecraft individually.
RCFProd:
Inactive.
If it’s unavailable within the main configuration, examine the alternate panel, Program settings, potentially finding a selection for Minecraft there.
I deactivated it, and the frame rate is currently 60fps, with that restriction maintained.
Please disable VSync once more within the game, and confirm that it’s set to entirely off in your NVIDIA configurations rather than utilizing Adaptive VSync.
This ought to resolve the issue.
I’m experiencing the same issue, therefore I attempted what you wrote, but it hasn't resolved my problem…
