The milk spill happened on the same day I upgraded my desk. I powered it off fully, disassembled everything, and cleaned it thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and lint-free paper towels. While breadboarding the motherboard, I noticed RGB lighting from the RAM and CPU, and a single red light blinked on the CPU debug LED. The specs are listed, but I’m unsure if the red light indicates a problem. My brother has the same setup, so swapping parts could affect his system. I plan to replace the motherboard and CPU myself if needed, but I don’t want to risk returning anything.
Assume you're connecting the motherboard to a breadboard outside the enclosure, checking the LED indicators in the manual. Replace the memory and CPU if needed. Solid red is not a favorable indication.
Was there any spark or flame? If so, it seems it's likely already too late.
Use clean water to rinse, then allow it to air dry for at least a week. Proceed with testing.
