I planned to purchase an affordable server for my web server backups, usually choosing Ubuntu or CentOS. This time I decided to explore alternatives, and after some research, I discovered MikroTik. It seemed unusual to consider routerOS on a virtual server, but it sparked my curiosity.

With several VPS setups, using a virtual router helps manage incoming and outgoing traffic. Many standard routing and network configurations also work in the virtual environment.
