I just read an article stating you can't transfer an OEM version to a different PC. I'm going with Windows 8.1 instead. It looks like a fresh start sounds good. Appreciate the help!

I purchased an e-mach in September and they suggested burning a recovery disc or I used three. If you need to replace the motherboard later, just run the recovery disc, I hope it helps.
