Hi, after upgrading my GPU from a GTX 1070Ti to a RTX 3060Ti, my frame rate has increased but I've also experienced stuttering and crashes in several games.
Here is my user benchmark:
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/49680863
I also took a screenshot of CPU-Z and GPU-Z:
https://prnt.sc/26ehjbh
For example, in Genshin Impact, my game microstutters every 15 seconds for about half a second, which is really frustrating.
Other titles like Fortnite and Super People randomly crash after 15–30 minutes of play, sometimes with micro stuttering too. I'm using DX12, but DX11 seems to make the problem worse.
I don’t know what’s causing the issue, tried various fixes but nothing worked:
- Updated both my Ryzen and GPU drivers via nvidia geforce experience
- Updated from the official website
- Changed power plan
- Set games to high priority
- Checked for background tasks
- Verified the GPU temperature is around 50–60°C during gameplay
- Slightly overclocked the GPU, but it didn’t resolve the problem (previously had issues)
If anyone can assist, that would be really helpful. From the specs, could it be related to RAM?

Hey there,
I'm not saying the RAM is the problem, but your system is running slow with that 2400mhz memory. You're missing out on a lot of speed, especially when gaming. You should definitely upgrade to something like a 2 x 8/2 x 16gb 3200mhz or even better, 3600mhz RAM.

Hi there!
Thanks for reaching out. I just placed an order for some RAM at 3600 MHz and it should arrive tomorrow. I’m hoping it will resolve the problem I’ve been having—like when I got my GPU, it would crash or freeze. I’ve noticed a slight improvement in FPS across all my games, though not a huge jump even after overclocking.

Sure, a quicker RAM will definitely improve performance. Also, are you creating your own CPU? If yes, consider removing any custom parts from it to check if that resolves the stuttering.

Right now I haven't been overclocking the CPU and I'm completely unsure about this.

Good. That should help eliminate the CPU problem.
You could also check for a BIOS update for your graphics card, as this sometimes fixes GPU issues. Just do it to be sure.
Assuming you're playing these games online, is your internet connection stable? Any problems like high latency or low bandwidth might cause stuttering—worth confirming everything is functioning properly.
