It's a concern about security risks. Edge can expose users to potential threats.
Edge uses more memory compared to other options. It's unclear if this change will be beneficial. The browser development is still ongoing. Microsoft is making progress on this issue. I don't recall visiting specific sites to test, but Build 10547 seems to perform better on my end. However, the results might vary depending on the sites in question.
I'm working with a video and conducting research for a class presentation. I opened several tabs to revisit the material, but loading one page took a long time or seemed endless. I think the 1.4GB file is mainly for video playback, but it could also be a page with a lot of text. I'm using Edge since it comes bundled with Windows 10. Another issue is that Firefox was causing me a lot of trouble—it kept reporting problems and requiring me to restart tabs repeatedly. Even after closing it three times, the same errors persisted. I'm not using Chrome because it doesn't function well with some of my school's websites.
