Microphone unexpectedly produces an extremely loud static sound without any prior alert.
So around nine months ago I purchased a new microphone for about $30. It comes from the brand SoundTech, though it's hard to locate any information about them (to be honest, I bought this in Indonesia). The main issue is that sometimes the mic produces a loud static noise, which appears unexpectedly during calls or otherwise, regardless of the situation. The sound is extremely loud and persistent, making it difficult to focus for even short periods. I've been searching for fixes but haven't found a solution yet. Anyone with a similar experience or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Would you happen to have a link to said microphone? If there are none, how is the microphone tethered to your system? Speaking of system, are we dealing with a desktop or a laptop? In either case, please parse a specs list if a system or make and model(and an SKU) to the laptop/prebuilt. We can move forward from there.
Here is the information you provided about your purchase and system setup.
You bought the microphone from the link: https://www.tokopedia.com/budgetdig...-m...podcast-pc.
Your desktop specifications are: I7 3770 processor, GA-H61M-DS2 motherboard, 16 GB DDR3 RAM, GTX 950 graphics card, a 1TB HDD, and a 256 GB SSD.
Operating system is Windows 10 Pro.
Please let me know if you need more details or have any other questions. Thanks! 😀
