I recently purchased a new headset, the HyperX Cloud Stinger, to replace my old and faulty one, the Razer Kraken. The Kraken had been in use for quite some time with my older PC and various devices. However, when I upgraded to a new system, the microphone stopped working and I was unsure if it was a hardware issue. The audio still functioned, so I continued using it without needing the mic. Recently, I bought another headset hoping it would resolve the problem, but it didn’t. I’m wondering if outdated drivers or faulty ports might be the cause, though I’ve checked them in Device Manager and still haven’t found a solution. I’m still confused about why this didn’t fix the issue.
