I've owned my PC for nearly two years now, and this issue began roughly a week back. The system runs an I7-11700F with an RTX 3070, 16GB RAM at 144Hz, and a 1080p monitor. I consistently achieve over 200 FPS in games like Valorant, CSGO, Overwatch, and TF2, but I've noticed micro stutters across all titles. Task manager shows no resource-heavy programs, GPU and CPU temps sit in the 50s-60s during gameplay—no obvious culprits so far.
I assume the problem isn't with your internet connection. Even with a powerful computer, you might still face minor latency fluctuations. I experienced similar issues before and initially blamed my hardware, but it turned out to be a connectivity concern. Have you recently updated your GPU drivers or made any other changes prior to this?
I changed my GPU drivers after the stuttering began to check for a fix. I haven’t identified any recent actions that might have triggered it; it just started suddenly. Since I’m seeing steady low ping and no packet loss, it doesn’t seem to be related to my internet connection.
Have you checked your existing drivers and considered an older version? Sometimes newer versions aren't as reliable, so older ones might work better. I've experienced situations where I had to revert back a few drivers because the latest one was unstable at that time. That's why I generally avoid updating unless necessary. If it's still functioning well, don't force changes.
