I've been experiencing micro-stuttering for nearly a year and a half. Here are some troubleshooting steps I've tried, though there are quite a few to mention. This issue appears in several games but isn't present in every one, which I find unusual. I'm compiling a list of fixes without counting them all. Video: GPU RTX 3080, CPU Ryzen 5600x, RAM 32GB, Corsair Vengeance RGB, motherboard Asrock B550 Phantom Gaming, 1920GB SSD, Force MP510 NVMe, PSU CORSAIR 850X RMX SERIES PLUS GOLD, white cooling, Corsair H60i PRO XT, and running Windows 10.

Stuttering is an bothersome problem, it occurs across various GPU models. Certain 3 series may experience poor stuttering, and sometimes developers must release an update to resolve the issue if NVIDIA can't fix it through driver patches.

It's frustrating when games aren't running smoothly. You're weighing a GPU upgrade and wondering whether AMD is the better choice compared to the 40 series.

NVIDIA and AMD sometimes experience performance drops. It's wise to avoid a stuttering GPU before purchasing, and make sure you fully understand how the system functions. I won't completely ban NVIDIA, but it's up to you. You're looking for a reliable device, and NVIDIA should deliver if it causes noticeable issues. This kind of problem feels unfair, especially when new hardware is available. It's concerning that companies might exploit users by making devices difficult to use, which could be seen as unethical. Diagnosing these issues can be complex, but it's important to consider all factors.

Occasionally background programs cause tiny glitches. Have you attempted a clean start, launching only essential software, before playing a game?

It's unusual... I've been using a 3080 for about 18 months without any problems. I've played a wide range of games like Dishonoured, Cyberpunk Witcher, Horizon Zero Dawn, Metro Exodus, Deus EX, and Control. My 3080 delivers sharp images to a 34" 1440p display with excellent clarity. Since I purchased it online, I haven't had the chance to test different system cards or settings in a physical store.

Some RTX GPUs are performing exceptionally, almost like they're flying through space. My RTX 3050 runs smoothly and efficiently.

It seems I had a fortunate outcome with the purchase, as everything ran smoothly and I didn’t plan to upgrade soon. The weather was also impressively mild. I think Nvidea seems to be overlooking those who faced problems; many buyers bought it at launch and accepted the situation since alternatives were scarce. The mining crash really hurt sales, and people just went along with what they had because options were limited. I was lucky to own the MSI Suprim, and since it was so big, only those with large towers could fit it. This meant slower sales and a higher markup, which I could handle. It cost just 150 USD over the original price, so I rushed to buy it from the online store when they reduced the price to clear inventory.

I've cleaned 4-5 windows recently, including one today for troubleshooting, but it hasn't made a difference.

Fortunately I got this purchase. It’s going to be a huge GPU upgrade. NVIDIA hasn’t been reliable lately with this big issue. They shouldn’t be pushing products that don’t function as promised, costing customers a lot of money.
