Micro experiences delays or freezes during gameplay due to unclear issues
Hello, during gameplay in League of Legends my experience becomes unstable, freezing briefly before returning to normal—usually within a second or less, though this impacts performance noticeably. I’m puzzled about the cause. I can share my system details, but it seems temperature might be the factor. I have an MD Ryzen 5 5600X with 6 cores and 12 threads, a GTX 1070, 12 GB RAM, and a TUF GAMING B550-PLUS motherboard. While most components aren’t maxed out during games, my GPU struggles, which could contribute to the issue. I took a photo of my idle temps and rebuilt the PC a few years ago using an older GPU from a 2016 machine. It still functions, so it’s unclear what specifically triggered this problem. I also reset the system to check, but it continues to repeat the issue after a fresh install. Appreciate any insights you might have.
You can install MSI Afterburner or HwInfo64 to monitor maximum CPU and GPU temperatures. These programs do not require MSI cards and function across all systems.
I'm just sitting around League of Legends without doing anything, and the temperature feels like 50°C.
50c is all right. 80c is a bit elevated yet safe, and anything below 90c is acceptable. The same applies to your CPU.
