Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 2GB should handle 720p, 768p, and likely higher resolutions. For future games, it depends on updates—check if developers increase max resolution support. What FPS would be ideal? Let me know your thoughts!

It depends on your situation. Playing at maximum settings can boost performance but may reduce quality. If lowering resolution is necessary, it might be better to adjust other parameters rather than risking lower visual fidelity.

I suggest 1080p and under. No models exceed 1080p. A 960 works well for 1080p gaming. The VRAM might have been better utilized. Still, a 4GB variant is available.

The 960 lacks sufficient VRAM, which means it’s unlikely to handle high resolutions like 1080p smoothly. In the near future, it may only support medium 1080p at a reasonable speed.

I notice it clearly at 768p on my laptop, which is exactly what I anticipated. Hmm, seems like a good choice for performance.

It's not perfect, but several features are reduced. Still, it appears more appealing than the other systems.

Metro runs smoothly at around 50–60 FPS in 1080p with SSAA and PhysX disabled on my system using a GTX 770. This graphics card is typically just a few frames faster than a 960, but it's quite sensitive to CPU performance. People with more powerful CPUs might see even better results. I believe the GTX 960 will remain suitable for 1080p games for several years. Some titles may need extra adjustments to maintain consistent frame rates, though keeping resolution stable is important. The GTX 960 struggles significantly in community tests, and benchmarks don’t back that up. After the 970/980 it felt a bit less exciting, but it offers more challenge than it’s given credit for.

I understand that an "Athlon X4 860K" should handle Metro games well. Yes, a 960 seems a bit too much for what I need now, but it should work as time goes on! Also, my machine with an 840M can run Metro at 768p in medium or higher settings.
