Hello, I tried to modify just the start menu icon in Linux Debian 9.7 with MATE Desktop Environment 1.16.2. I noticed I should focus on changing only that specific icon, not all system images. Please let me know if you need further help.

Consider your needs before deciding. Writing to the terminal can help with immediate feedback or script execution.

It seems you're unsure about the icon path you're using. You mentioned not using mint or gnome, so let me know if you'd like help adjusting it!

It functions like a registry manager, where you locate the identifier and modify its visual representation.
