Memory reaches its limit at 50% utilization.
Hey everyone! I've been facing some performance problems with my PC during tasks like gaming, video editing, and recording. I expected better given my specs—32 GB RAM, an RTX 2080, and a Ryzen 5950X. Recently, my system started lagging more than usual, even though it was running near its maximum capacity. I noticed my RAM usage was only around 48%, which is way below what I thought possible. Could there be something I'm missing that's affecting performance?
This could happen even when components aren't fully utilized, due to other factors like overheating, software limitations, or driver issues.
Have you explored Aida 64’s trial and performed a memory check to verify RAM availability?
Verify memory status before proceeding. This might relate to an operating system problem. You can execute "sfc /scannow" in cmd with administrative privileges. During the scan, examine the system logs via Event Viewer and review entries categorized by error type and cause. Critical and error sections should highlight recent issues. If necessary, consider a full reinstall or boot from another drive to run stress tests.
