Hello, I’m not sure where to place this sub forum. My computer has 8GB of RAM and when idle it’s using 75-80%. The Task Manager shows the Service Host: Local System using most memory, but only about 99MB. I also saw an error saying “Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was complete.” When I opened Task Manager, I got that message. I’m running Windows 8.1 64-bit on an AMD A8 6500. Update: It’s actually just a literal update. It restarted itself about 15 minutes after I put it to sleep [emoji14].

The most effective method to identify hardware problems is to download and execute Memtest. This will provide insight into whether a hardware failure is present.

Interesting. After the system reboot, my PC automatically adjusted and memory usage dropped to just 20%. Could be a memory leak issue.
