Memory management crash occurred unexpectedly
It has been a while since I experienced a BSOD, but it seems to be reappearing now. Based on the information I found about the BSOD, it appears to be related to the RAM. I haven’t run a Memtest yet, but I plan to do so after this post. I’ll also note that my RAM modules were RMA’d soon after I assembled the PC, which originally led to some issues and frequent BSODs. I’m hoping this time it won’t happen with the new ones. Keep in mind, this occurred in 2021, so the RAM sticks are about three years old. Below are links to the DMP file and the Sysnative BSOD zip if anyone can assist with troubleshooting. I’ve included my system specs as requested. Update: We’re encountering errors—should it be RMA time?
Sure, I'll make sure to clarify that right away. Once done, I'll note the physical inspection finding and ask about G.skill's warranty policy for RAM sticks. If needed, I'll guide you through the RMA process.
Leading memory makers typically offer a lifetime guarantee for DRAM. G.Skill seems to follow this trend as well. https://www.gskill.com/warranty
It seems you're checking if it's time for a return or replacement. Have you already shared the details of the issue in your post?
Confirm order processing. Check RAM module to identify the faulty one.
It seems tricky to figure out which stick is the problem. Right now, processing RMA parts in Canada is tough because the postal service is on strike. I might buy new sticks, but there are also reports that the CPU could be failing. I’m hoping it’s okay and will try again once I get the new ones, though it’s disappointing. These sticks aren’t even four years old—they’re replacement parts from an RMA.
Check each RAM module separately. If both display issues, your CPU memory controller could be failing. If just one shows errors, the CPU seems okay.
you might consider updating the BIOS, but otherwise it's fine. why? it's better to get a replacement kit. also, adding new RAM could make things worse if you're using the same model(s). for example, I've experienced repeated RAM issues (like Vengeance RAM) so I kept updating the BIOS, which eventually improved things over time. but I still faced occasional crashes—about once every couple months. eventually, I decided to buy Samsung B-dies and it stopped working altogether after over two years. good luck either way!
Sounds good, I'll proceed with that. Buying new sticks makes sense while I'm here. I'll follow up as soon as possible.
