Memory handling during intense gaming sessions over two days
so first there is a buzzing sound then windows shows bsod screen and after completing the dump computer restarts, i did basic ram test in memory diagnostic tool it shows my ram is fine (2 passes). do i need to run it longer? i wonder if it could be something wrong with my gpu because it had vram failure and has been repaired with a very vague method (solder reflow), i also see little artifacts which show up for a split of a second at bottom when launching a game, i think my gpu is toast but i can get my brother's 3060 ti as he barely gets time to play on his pc but that is atleast few weeks away so i would be glad in meantime if my gpu can be fixed because 1050 ti still holds up in most games at low settings, if it's a ram issue i can change sticks because i have 3 more 8gb modules lying around
Ascend the Asrock H470-HD, I3 10105F, paired with a Kingston HyperX Fury Black 2x8GB RAM at 2133MHz. The Zotac 1050 Ti Mini remains untouched, with no overclocking applied and XMP disabled.
Looks like it's running in slow motion... but that's the usual. What's different recently? Needed to check safe mode or troubleshoot CLI. (Shift + reboot to start) GPU drivers update: chipset, audio, network, reinstall GPU and try again.
1050 remains functional mostly, the only notable shift is that I recently got a GT 710 after my brother applied a repair hack to my GPU. I suspect the GPU SFC is displaying everything correctly now. I ran a DDU after switching GPUs, and all are up to date. Asrock hasn't released major updates since the 10th generation.
Did you receive any Windows updates recently? I recall you had one that got blocked last week and then disappeared. That’s often the cause. Occasionally a faulty update can happen, but sometimes you need to remove the last one manually.
Visit C:\Windows\Minidump to see if any minidump files exist. If present, return to the Windows directory and transfer the entire Minidump folder to the Downloads folder (use your desktop if needed). Compress the copied folder and include it in a post. Please adhere strictly to instructions since Windows doesn't allow file manipulation there.
I uploaded both files because it happened more than once. The files are 110223-32265-01.dmp and 103123-20546-01.dmp.
