I own a Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE with two 8GB 3200mhz modules. It worked well before. I bought a Crucial 62GB kit (two 32GB units) called CP2K32G4DFRA32A, but it seems unstable. I’ve installed one DIMM at a time—slot 1 works fine, the other mostly fails but managed to boot once. I’ve followed standard steps: booting one at a time, checking different slots, updating BIOS (version F51), clearing CMOS, and adjusting the CPU cooler. The manufacturer claims the kit isn’t compatible, though I can’t see why. The motherboard supports 4x32GB modules, so it shouldn’t be a compatibility problem. Could be a faulty memory module rather than a hardware issue?
The differences between v1 and v2 are really frustrating. I’m not sure which version I actually have, but the images suggest it might be v2. However, my BIOS listing only shows V1, which makes me think there could be an issue with the BIOS setup. Also, the V1 user manual is confusing me—I need more clarity.

Also, try resetting CMOS by turning off the PC, keeping the PSU active, and installing memory in slots A2 and B2.
It seems like you're joking about the PC part picker. What's your CPU?
Disconnected the power supply, kept it running while resetting CMOS. Used jumper or screwdriver to short the two pins. This method works on newer boards. Turn off the PSU only when removing the battery. Check if the device was truly reset; it should trigger a prompt in BIOS.
I wasn't sure if the PSU should be unplugged. Yes, I see a notification in the BIOS.
The PC has been operating for 30 minutes using just the "good" stick and has worked without any problems. I changed it to the other stick, but it doesn<|pad|> to fail to boot. After switching back, it starts up successfully. I believe the issue is with a defective DIMM module.
