Memory Overclock resets to +0 after applying 'apply' with any overclocking tool. Uninstalling and reinstalling both software and drivers didn't resolve the issue. Any suggestions? (gtx 980)

As you mentioned earlier, you're managing both software at once, which isn't ideal. You should run just one program. For instance, start MSI afterburner and turn off AORUS Engine. If that's the case, also set MSI afterburner as the startup program and disable it from the other program (AORUS Engine).

This issue also occurred with my GTX 1070ti Gigabyte Gaming. If this works for me, it might work for you too.

Hi, I didn't mean to run both at once. Right now I'm just using afterburner during startup without any Evga or other software installed. The same goes for me. I can overclock the core clock, but memory resets to zero. I also exit the GeForce Experience app before starting afterburner. Maybe it's a limitation on older NVIDIA cards? I'm still on drivers 416.34.

It might have been the answer—perhaps reach out to Nvidia support instead.
