I discovered a setting in my BIOS named 'Internal graphics memory size' that was set to 64MB by default. I'm curious if adjusting it would help, though I usually stick to my settings since I haven't changed them before and don’t have solid guidance on the matter. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This setup uses the smallest possible memory. After the operating system starts, it won’t matter much. Because of memory sharing, it only uses what it needs or can get. Adding more RAM might help a bit with graphics, but it would also block other parts of the system from using that memory. With 8GB already limited, this could create more problems than it fixes.

When you're unsure about its purpose, avoid using it unless you're certain. Invest more time in learning before making changes. Edited December 31, 2023 by SansVarnic

I understand, I'm only looking for the function's purpose. It seems like it won't activate itself.
