Hey there, I’ve got a 1x16GB stick right now. I’m thinking about adding more memory so I can use dual-channel. My budget is around 450 euros. I’m purchasing a 230 euro NZXT Z53 AIO and plan to buy each RAM stick for 45 euros. If I fill all slots, it would be about 140GB total, which should work for my needs. I also want an XLR cable for my mic and a Scarlett Solo interface from Focusrite for 110 euros. That pushes my budget over, so I could only get one more stick and end up with 32GB. That seems doable, but I wanted to ask if that’s enough for my daily multitasking.

I use Discord and YouTube on two monitors, juggling multiple tabs—one for music, one for videos, plus streaming and screen sharing while playing Warzone 2 at high graphics. Minecraft runs in the background for farming, and I also have Voicemod, Voicemeeter, and AMD Adrenaline open. My CPU is a Ryzen 7 5700X, and I’m planning to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 5900X in a few months because I really value multitasking. Any thoughts?

32gb should cover your needs well, as each game requires around 8gb of RAM (16gb total), leaving the rest with minimal memory usage.

It depends on your needs and budget. Consider upgrading if you experience performance issues or plan to use resource-intensive tasks.

I believe using a 230e AIO with a 190e CPU isn't worth it.

Same here but nothing compares to that RGB and LCD display. As I mentioned before, I'm moving to a Ryzen 9 5900X.

It seems you overlooked something important. Regarding RAM, I believe 32GB should suffice.

Sure, if you can afford it, go for it. Adding four faster cores along with increased L1,2 and 3 cache would be a solid boost for handling multiple tasks. While gaming performance might not see a huge jump, the extra cores are better suited for multitasking anyway.
