I've been checking around for a while and think I found a solid motherboard. My concern is whether this new board can support both the 10900k and 10700k CPUs. I'm also unsure if it will provide enough power, especially since I plan to overclock it slightly and likely push it to its stable limits in a few years. I'm still deciding which CPU to choose.
The Vision G can manage a 10900K fine. Remember, it’s largely similar to the Elite regarding power output; unless you require the additional features of the Vision G, you might reduce costs by choosing the Elite or another board option.
I don’t understand those four USB 2.0 devices either... I just don’t get why anyone would still use USB 2.0 in 2020. It’s a waste of space. I noticed one of ASUS’s biggest boards has eight USB 3.0 or higher ports, which isn’t cheap. Everyone should have those.
They exist mainly for older equipment. I understand you're not sure about the necessity of four, but two should suffice for devices like keyboards and mice that only need USB 2.0.
My keyboard reacts strangely when connected to a USB 2.0 port. For the best setup, I switched to four USB 3.0 devices and kept two USB 2.0 ones unused.
