Maybe it's just CPU, maybe it's MBO, or perhaps both of them are involved.

Hi guys, here are some questions about my PC build: My CPU (Ryzen 5 7600x3D on Asus Prime X670P) overheated three times when I took the liquid cooler apart and didn't screw in the standoffs right. That's why it turned off until I fixed it. Now I've been using it for two months without any more issues, so is my CPU actually dead? Second question: since I bought an MBO (motherboard), there were some problems with it. Maybe the board itself is bad, but I'm not sure. I mostly game normally and don't get overheating or slow MBOs, but sometimes Windows acts super slow when starting up. Even though I have Avira antivirus, I switched to another one because it was cheaper. The PC still feels sluggish at startup. My MBO is a year old, the BIOS is updated, and drivers are from Asus. I'm worried about what's wrong. I thought I'd let someone fix it since everything came from the same seller and is under warranty. Yesterday I installed a new Windows version.
Hi, Running EXPO makes things run smoothly because I adjusted Vdd and Vddq, so it works now. The voltages are 1.35 V for Vdd and 1.34 V for Vddq. Also, I got DDR5 6000 MHz CL30 from the seller this time. Thanks! One thing to fix: I had turned on a BIOS setting that clears TPM every restart. After turning it off, it feels better. That was probably on when I installed Windows during my efforts. So what did you think? You all need to know how to set up your BIOS before anything else now. It looks fine already.
The PC turned off because it got too hot. That's normal. If you just keep turning that computer on like this, then maybe don't worry anymore. How are you cooling the processor again? What about how do you cool your CPU? As for the build, what is the make and model of your case? 2X 16 GB DDR5 5600 MHZ Kingston cl36 Fury The sweet spot for AMD's Ryzen 7000 and 9000 series processors is using DDR5-6000MHz, two sticks at once with very fast speeds. Is AMD's E.X.P.O enabled in your BIOS? You could have bought a B650 chip instead of an X670 board and it would probably cost less money. What version are you running on your motherboard (for the sake of being clear, we look for the number)? sometimes my PC acts very slowly when I turn on Windows like that. And what is the make and model of your hard drives? Moved this thread from the Components section to the Systems section.
I have a PC called the Fractal Full Tower design, which comes in black with clear paint and an RGB light bar on top. I do not run EXPO because it does not work well for me. The BIOS version is 3222. My cooling system is a Deepcool LE 500 with a Marrs color scheme.

I used to keep old internet cards at the beach, and those were probably broken because of the company's error. But after switching to using my phone for internet, things have worked fine since then. If something breaks while I'm checking, I'll see if it comes back.
Running EXPO makes things stable now because I turned those voltages up and fixed them. The voltage for Vdd is 1.35 volts, but Vddq drops down to 1.34 volts. Also, I got DDR5 from the seller at 6000 MHz with CL30 speed. Plus, there was one setting in BIOS that cleared TPM on every restart. After turning it off again, it feels better because that's what you do when changing a CPU or something like that. I'm wondering why it was turned on during my Windows installation? Maybe it happened then so you all can know how to set the BIOS settings before starting anything else. It looks good now!
