Hello, based on your research, you're deciding between the Maximus XII Hero and Maximus XII Apex for your PC. Since you're mainly using it for gaming and want some extra RAM for performance boosts, here are a few points to consider:

- **WiFi**: Both models support standard Wi-Fi, but check the latest specs to ensure compatibility with your network.
- **Overclocking**: The Apex typically offers better overclocking potential due to its higher-end components.
- **Performance**: If you prioritize gaming and RAM upgrades, the Apex might give you a smoother experience.

Let me know if you need more details or recommendations! Thanks!

The Apex focuses more on memory overclocking, which is why it has two DIMM slots rather than four. The Hero offers a more balanced design. I recommend the Z490 Unify unless you intend to use liquid nitrogen cooling, which you probably won’t.

The Apex excels at heavy RAM overclocking and offers ln2 capabilities. For a solid build, an X570 Tomahawk or a Unity would suffice.

I chose the Hero XII for its onboard graphics and four RAM slots. It might end up in a video editing setup, which could make these features useful later.
