i've started experimenting with overclocking recently, especially with memory performance. i'm using two trident z rgb kits—one 2x16gb 3200c16 and another 2x16gb 3600c16 (b die 16-16-16-36). the burner indicates the 3200c16 is a B die model, and with an extra 100mV i can push it to 3800c19 stable. i'm not sure if that beats the stock version, but the B die kit gives full voltage support and stays at 3600MHz even with poor timings. it reaches 3600c14 stable but nothing higher. with the 3600+x570 build I'm planning, i'll test these dims but it's confusing why the clock speeds don't match the $130 kit using the $230 one.
CJR or DJR aren't the only factors—various elements influence memory overclocking. Things like board layout (especially T topology) and the IMC matter too. The IMC should work well with Intel CPUs, so try adjusting the VCCIO and SA settings to 1.1-0.2 and see what happens.
They’re not completely broken, just occasionally showing incorrect ICs. I’m checking if adjusting the voltage settings makes a difference. Usually I leave it on auto.

the kit is definitely what i was thinking about—the 3200c16 board supports 3800c19 on the same chip. TB mentioned it's B die, and checking the IC model in TB confirms that, though he seems a bit confused. I think memory overclocking isn't too important right now, but i'll test everything with my new Ryzen once it arrives.

I’m not very familiar with overclocking in general or this particular motherboard, and there are many confusing settings in the ASUS BIOS with vague names like “trace centering.” Should any specific options be enabled or disabled?
