Hello everyone. I have a query regarding the Maximus X setup. When assembling the system, the OLED display and adjustable LED strips didn<|pad|> to fail. The OLED remains inactive. Integrated lighting functions correctly, while standard RGB strips operate normally. I’m unsure if additional BIOS installation is required for OLED functionality—this hasn’t appeared during startup, nor after installing the live dash. I found some discussions suggesting a firmware update for LED modules might help. However, no LED software appears available. I recently updated the BIOS to support 9900k, but it still doesn’t resolve the issue. I’m hoping OLED remains a key feature of this board. Currently, I run my system with 9900k on the Mximus XI hero Wi-Fi, using an EK monoblock for water cooling both the VRM and CPU. Under stress, the VRM temperature never exceeds 55°C after 10 hours of AIDA64. I’m curious which board performs better—Mximus XI hero or Formula X, especially if water cooling is included. Even with the hero configuration, I’d like to fix the OLED display and adjustable RGBs. If anyone has LED firmware or guidance, please share a link. Thanks all!
