Hello, I would really appreciate it if someone could assist me in boosting the performance of my i5 6600k on the motherboard "asus maximus v111 ranger". My goal is to reach a clock speed of 4.5ghz, while the stock speed is 3.5ghz. This is my first time diving into overclocking, so any advice you can offer would be very helpful. I’ve searched for relevant guides but haven’t found anything specific for this setup.

Additionally, I need to clarify that I’m unable to enable XMP in BIOS for my RAM. If I find an option to toggle it on or off, it only lets me see the settings and disable them. Is this related to the RAM I purchased, or is there an issue with the latest BIOS version I have?

Here’s the RAM I have:
https://www.scan.co.uk/products/8gb-cors...le-stick-d

I attempted to try a DIY approach using an online video tutorial, but ended up with a system that wouldn’t boot and required a CMOS reset.

In an ideal scenario, I would love to have a clear, beginner-friendly step-by-step guide that walks you through the process safely and effectively for my PC.
