I want to improve the RAM and hard drive for the Sony Vaio PCG-71C11M (model VPCEL3S1E). It seems I couldn’t locate a complete manual online, just some scattered or possibly unreliable details. Any guidance on the manual would be helpful. I need to know the maximum RAM capacity (I noticed two slots) and the maximum hard drive size (2.5 inch SATA III). The processor model is also missing. I don’t have the laptop nearby to check further.
Max RAM: 8GB (two 4GB units) as listed in the specs sheet
Max HDD or SSD: 2TB (based on general guidelines)

The 640 GB mentioned in those specifications only indicates the storage capacity of the HDD included with the laptop, and it doesn't imply that 640 GB is the total maximum supported capacity. I still believe it should accommodate a 2 TB drive.
