My setup runs smoothly with 12 drives but fails when I add more. The 13th+ drive keeps popping up as unrecognized, even after removing it. In BIOS it lists all 13 or 14 drives, yet the boot menu still shows only the USB key with warning symbols. Once I reset to 12 drives, those warnings vanish. The manual doesn’t mention a limit on the number of drives. Could there be an unlisted maximum? What steps should I try next without replacing hardware?
