Good morning. I’ve discovered some settings that let PBO achieve a stronger sustained boost on my 3700x, or at least more often than before. My worry is that the voltages used for PBO are excessively high, especially since they’re running at gaming loads. While I could try a static overclock with lower voltage and see if it makes a difference, AMD warns that this might reduce the CPU’s lifespan. It seems like a tricky balance. I’m aware this is what people discuss online—just keep an open mind.
