If your frame rate exceeds 140fps, consider using a limiter. I don’t have any experience with VR, but I think inconsistent frame rates are the main issue... Regarding USB problems, check the Device Manager for Universal Serial Bus controllers. Uninstalling and restarting your computer might resolve the issue.
The game could be running in a windowed mode. Verify if Gsync is turned off in the Nvidia control panel. Ensure VSync is disabled. Some titles are not well optimized, which might explain the issue. It could be due to heat from airflow components inside the case, as seen with games like Borderlands 3. If possible, remove the front panel if it’s removable. Alternatively, the problem might stem from outdated or incompatible Nvidia drivers, which could cause the game to crash and revert to a previous version.
airflow performs well with a liquid cooling setup for the CPU and case, which is Corsair 750D. Dust seems to be kept under control. I’m not sure if Gsync is the right choice—maybe monitors would work better. Vsync is consistently turned off in all games, and drivers are all current.
For RAM, are you applying an XMP profile? I own a 3000MHz chip (XMP - 2933MHz 15-16-16-35), but my motherboard includes a Memory Try It feature. I tested 3200MHz (16-18-18-38) and experienced stutters in games despite everything running fine. After switching to XMP, the stutters disappeared completely.
You haven't worked with XMP before. Start by learning the basics of XMP and its purpose.
I checked it and turned on XMP. RAM speed went from 2133MHz to 3200MHz now. That should help with the stutters.
