In summary, most games show minimal GPU usage around 0.1% while the engine lists as Gpu 0 or Gpu 1 in the task manager. This drop is especially clear in titles like GTA 5 and Forza Horizon, where performance falls from over 100 FPS to just a few. I’ve looked everywhere for solutions but haven’t found a fix. It seems the issue began after switching from an Intel CPU to an AMD Ryzen. I’m considering replacing the GPU entirely, though any advice is welcome. Your system details: AMD Ryzen 2700X, old Intel i5 9400f, Asus GeForce RTX 2060 DUAL OC EVO Rog Strix b450-f gaming II.

You haven’t reinstalled Windows recently, so such a major update usually needs to be done intentionally or by chance.

Consider adjusting the NVida control panels 3D settings and tweaking them for each game to boost performance. I faced a problem where games refused to increase and relied on my GPU unexpectedly. Changing the performance options in 3D settings usually resolved the issue for me.
