This could also be an issue with the CPU itself.
There is a widely know issue regarding intel 13/14th generation CPUs regarding degradation of the silicon itself.
If the cooler does not fix the issue I would highly recommend starting an RMA process with Intel for warranty service.
I really don't think it's the CPU. Tomorrow I'll gather my new cooler ( since I need an LGA 1700 base. I'll let you know tomorrow! Thanks!
The updated cooling solution maintains temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees. No issues reported thus far. It appears this has addressed the concern. The CPU core temperature was the real issue. Thank you for your patience!
