My machine fails to start after I manually shut it down. This hasn’t happened before, and the system has run smoothly for about a year now. I’m not sure my manual shutdown is the cause since I’ve always done it throughout the PC’s life. Suddenly, once I turned it back on, the CPU light on the motherboard lit up and the machine didn’t boot completely. I changed all the power cables, reinserted the CPU and GPU connectors, and reapplied thermal paste. It’s strange how everything worked fine until this happened after one restart. I don’t think overheating is the issue because I regularly overclock my fans with MSI Afterburner, keeping temperatures under 70°C most of the time. I also boosted the CPU by around 200 MHz—well under 10% increase—and never experienced crashes at those speeds. It could help to mention that I used a 3400G motherboard that boots correctly when I inserted it, suggesting the CPU might be faulty. Specs: Ryzen 5600X with stock cooler Gtx 980 Ti Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 (2x8GB), 3200 MHz, TUF Gaming X570-plus (WiFi) AGK 850 80 Plus Gold.
