Manjaro MacOS
Manjaro MacOS
I'm just getting started with software and OS tweaks. I watched Linus's gaming video on Manjaro and decided to try dual booting Linux. Later I realized how much you can customize Linux, even making it resemble macOS. This got me curious—do anyone have a prebuilt guide or tutorial to modify Manjaro so it looks like macOS? I'm focusing on themes down to cursors and the bottom bar. Any advice would be great!
Install the packages like any other software and switch to them during login. KDE is likely the best choice for a MacOS-like experience. I suggest using Latte dock for both the top and bottom panels.
I've been facing several issues with Manjaro. Would you mind considering Pop OS? Developed by System 76, it includes graphics drivers ready to go. They also have great tutorials on their website. If you're not comfortable with Linux, I'd suggest it. It's built on Ubuntu and optimized for gaming. On the other hand, Elementary OS offers a more native Linux experience. Install it immediately if you lack a dedicated graphics card, but if you have one, stick with Pop or Manjaro for better driver support. Alternatively, try both. These distributions can be launched from a live USB and tested easily. If you're interested in installing Manjaro or Pop but want an Elementary OS feel, check the Arch Wiki for Pantheon setup—searching for its acronym will help clarify what you're looking for.
