Sure! When setting up a PC for Manjaro, consider the available options carefully. Think about the type of graphics card or processor you want, check compatibility with your OS, and ensure it fits within your budget and space constraints.

Long ago, people always recommended using NVIDIA drivers with Linux because AMD support was consistently problematic. Recently, however, that trend has shifted noticeably over the past few years. I haven't been able to verify a clear pattern myself. Personally, my experience on a Fury was extremely frustrating—removing tearing made the system nearly unplayable. My Intel iGPU handled it much better, with the "tearfree" option actually functioning properly.

On NVIDIA systems it requires only a single command in the terminal followed by a reboot. You’re currently running a GTX 970 on a Manjaro i3 setup, installed via: sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300

AMD drivers are now integrated into the kernel. Ensure you're using a kernel version that supports your GPU.
