I accidentally compromised my browser safety, Windows Defender, and Malwarebytes while installing a dubious program from a questionable site. I realized the threat was real. Now I’m facing a minor issue. Malwarebytes continues to flag threats, but I’m unsure how to resolve them. I’ve checked all my drives, followed the removal steps, yet they persist. I prefer not to erase my computer, even though that seems like the simplest fix. I’m not very experienced with virus removal. My father creates software for medical professionals, and the only option is to completely wipe the drive and destroy it if there’s a virus. Then report it to authorities. For example: http://gyazo.com/e2b02351269a32759fc11678032923aa http://gyazo.com/dc7acebfa53ef4ef8930379671078ffd Malware detections: http://gyazo.com/fe63e0108c68007c5fa8f33924599120 Random popups: http://gyazo.com/accc8113e4a93bd6f7de0cd698219907 Also, my malwarebytes key stopped working. Someone told me a friend had an unused key, but I’m not sure how to recover it.

Check your browser extensions in the %windir%\temp and %temp% directories. Run another MBAM scan, remove any items resembling Sketchballs from the control panel. Continue with more MBAM scans as needed.

Check the official guide and consider purchasing your own license—it’s sufficient to justify buying one.

You intentionally installed harmful software, and no one should assist you with this.

Transfer all essential applications, games, and documents to a different storage device, erase the target drive, reinstall Windows, return everything, this is the most reliable method to completely remove it.

In my view, Malwarebytes isn't effective. As a security researcher at AVG, I never endorse it. I suggest using Norton Power Eraser. Execute it and adhere to the steps. You might also try Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal tool and consider Emsisoft Emergence Kit for a final check. Remember, antivirus signatures often miss threats, so rely on your expertise. Employ a network analyzer like Wireshark to track how malware communicates. Once you identify the connection, block it via your firewall to stop further downloads. After that, use tools such as Process Explorer to permanently terminate the malware process and remove or corrupt the main executable. Finally, delete everything or quarantine the files with an antivirus program to detect any remnants. My recommendation.
