Make sure the game runs at 720p resolution.
I have a 720p monitor and when trying to open certain games such as Sekiro Shadows Die Twice or Need for Speed Payback, I encounter an out of range error. I need to manually lower the resolution. However, I've already tried editing game configuration files, using STEAM's launch option (which isn't available), and adjusting -window and -resolution parameters without success. Is there any application or command that could force these settings? Thank you.
Why are you unable to edit the game's configuration files? What error message(s) do you get or what otherwise happens when you attempt game configuration changes?
It may or may not be a configuration issue. More information is needed.
Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.
However if the system cannot, for some reason, support 720p then you cannot force it to do so.
