Hello everyone! I just bought the GIGABYTE P34G after checking out Linus' review and his thoughts on it. The laptop performs impressively and meets all the expectations he shared. But lately, I've faced a problem that's been bothering me for days. It concerns the 1920x1080 display on the 14-inch screen. Many applications with high DPI scaling are causing trouble—most programs appear blurry, text looks fuzzy, and reading becomes uncomfortable, often leading to headaches. After searching online, I discovered a solution: adjusting the program settings to disable high DPI scaling. That fixed the blurry text, but it changed the layout—programs now appear too small on a 1080p monitor and squashed into the 14-inch screen. While it restored proper proportions, everything feels disproportionately sized, making text hard to read and overall use less convenient. I'm sorry for the lengthy update, but after investing a significant amount, I truly hope this issue gets resolved. So, what should I try next? If you're unsure, take a look at the attached photo showing me splitting Chrome and Steam on the same screen. Yes, Chrome looks oversized, Steam fits better, but remember the monitor size—Steam is actually quite compact and readable. I'm counting on your help, Cheers! Ditch

Have you adjusted the ClearType options and boosted the scaling?

You're experiencing limited improvement in overall scaling, only seeing changes to the taskbar size. This could be due to specific settings within your operating system or application configurations. Consider checking the display scaling options in your OS settings or consulting the documentation for programs you're using to ensure they support scaling.

Have you experimented with adjusting these options, especially Cleartype? It often makes a difference.

It looks like each setup is getting smaller to fit a 1080p display within a larger frame.

Isn't this Firefox? It might just be the browser. Edit: Oh, steam, you can adjust the view in the top right corner with Big Picture.
