Regardless of the job it maintains around 3.85ghz to 4.05ghz. I've attempted to enable and disable pbo and cool n quiet in BIOS, adjusted power plans, but nothing helps. The CPU frequency is set to auto (MSI max b450 tomahawk), and no known settings are restricting it. A few weeks back this behavior didn't occur—it would drop to 3.6ghz and reach 4.15-4.2ghz. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? I'm experiencing a significant drop in performance during video rendering, which clearly affects the time needed for rendering.

I also own the newest version of both models. My Corsair H60 V2 runs at 55°C, with 50% usage reaching about 65°C and full load around 75°C. I use the radiator fan twice—once as an intake and another above the intake on the left side of my case. It stays fairly cool inside.
55c at idle runs a bit warm. I run a Corsair AIO on my 3600x, which stays between 23-25°C. The 280mm model really depends on ambient conditions, but I think any AIO should keep idle temps higher than 55c. 120mm AIOs tend to hit their peak quickly and often underperform compared to decent air coolers. They’re useful in specific setups like SSF builds or where a slim profile is important. What cooling case do you have? How long has your build been working well before this problem started?
It's surprising since the maximum CPU cooler height is only 155mm—few tower coolers reach that. I think it might take about a month to find something suitable.
Is this operating under load? That's about the full-core boost. Running with PBO should push it a bit more.
