You're thinking about upgrading your system. Comparing 3200MHz and 3600MHz RAM will make a noticeable difference in performance, especially for tasks like gaming or multitasking. Your current 64GB of 3200MHz memory from the i7 7700K is solid, but switching to 3600MHz could boost speeds further. Whether you keep your existing RAM or replace it with new 3600MHz modules depends on your budget and needs—new memory costs around 550€, so weigh that against potential gains.

It's okay if you're honest, save your money.

Purchasing 3600MHz cl18 will yield identical results. Even 3600MHz cl16 offers only slight gains. It's probably best to skip it.

RAM performance isn't just about the MHz rating; it also relies on latency, known as the "CL number." For example, 3200 MHz with a CL of 16 equals around 3600 MHz with a CL of 18. Conversely, 3600 MHz at CL16 would only offer roughly a 5% boost in some games. We still don't have a clear picture of what you're aiming to achieve with your setup @RAID_BOMB.
