Looking for a mainboard with PCIe hotplug support and a 4x4 expansion slot setup. We're testing PCIe cards here, so any recommendation should cover that. No need to worry about the CPU—just want something that works with at least PCIe Gen 3. Let me know if you need more details!

bifurcation is a typical trait, particularly on premium boards, though I know nothing about consumer models—you’ll likely need to check server boards. Even then, compatibility can vary based on the operating system you’re using. For instance, Windows doesn’t currently support PCIe hotplug.

Isn't this simply an x4 PCIe link? We require the complete 16 lanes.
