I checked it on a Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4 with the 12 gen and 13 gen modules. The processor indicated the board was functioning properly… except for the fact that there were bent pins on some boards.

No, not all IO Shield prongs make contact with the exterior side of the mainboard ports. Most are outside, though the HDMI port doesn’t reach the outer edge.
