Shifted to CPUs, motherboards, and memory. The 990FX ATX boards generally work well with this setup. Supports CPU and GPU, plus four RAM slots. Uses DDR3 memory because DDR4 wasn't available then. Also combined several threads together. No spamming allowed.

Attempting to mine with just one 1060 3GB GPU is not viable. In fact, mining Bitcoin using GPUs in 2021 was nearly impossible. It seems you might be referring to cryptocurrency in general, but it’s wise to do more research before investing your money and time.
Consider the reasons and goals behind your mining choice. Trying to mine Bitcoin is not feasible, and Ethereum mining will be highly inefficient. Anything requiring less than 4.1 GB of VRAM won’t work well for effective mining, so you’ll only be able to process coins that fit within those limits.
Hey! For your AMD FX 8350 and GTX 1060 with 3GB RAM, a budget-friendly motherboard would be great. Look for something like the ASUS ROG STARK Z690 or MSI MEG AORO, both offer solid performance at a lower price. Just make sure it supports the necessary PCIe slots and VRMs for your cards. Happy mining!
Yes, you can connect two GPUs such as the RTX 3060 and 2060 or 2060 and 1060 using an AsRock AMD AM4 A320M-HDV R4.0 motherboard.
The FX 8350 demands a strong processor unless you choose to slow it down. You'll need a robust motherboard if you plan to run it on a GTX 1060, especially considering the power usage and potential costs. This chip uses AM3+, not AM4, so a B450 board won't fit.
Check the listings for the ASRock 760GM motherboard and the ASUS M5A78L R2 0 model.
