I haven’t received a case yet, but I’m checking if everything functions properly. Placing the motherboard inside the box and powering it up might reveal any issues.

It's okay. Avoid placing the antistatic bag beneath mb since it might be conductive.

The motherboard should rest on non-conductive surfaces that won’t cause shorts at the bottom. It can also be placed directly on wooden desks or tables, though you might face challenges fitting PCI-E cards into slots. Simple materials like cardboard from the box, a few sheets of paper, or a plastic bag will work fine. The shiny packaging may or may not conduct electricity depending on its antistatic or static-dissipative properties and the bag's construction—if uncertain, it’s best to skip it.
