Mail Programs
Do MSN or anyone have a reliable email client you’d suggest? I’m currently using Thunderbird for many years, but lately some internal issues have appeared that haven’t happened in the past 15 or 20 years. I’ve been using Google email, but I rely on Thunderbird to handle the Gmail flow.
I’ve faced a few problems. The mail arrives in Thunderbird’s inbox, you open it, and it seems to leave the bold formatting unchanged—just turning it into a lighter or normal style, indicating you’ve read it. It does change the bold if you move it to the Trash.
Sometimes Google email stops sending to Thunderbird, and I notice the last message date in the inbox is several days old. When either service decides to send again, it catches up, and after a few days no new emails appear. Eventually, I can read them in Goggles, but I don’t like that option.
I’ve also experienced other unexpected changes in the Thunderbird program, which makes me unsure if I made any adjustments. If you know of a better email program, please let me know. Thanks for your help.
Perhaps it's time to move away from outdated program with several faults and use something more convenient?
Though, while what i'm using, may not be what you're looking for, but it's worth to look into;
I'm using small plug-in with by browser, to manage all my G-mail accounts. "Gmail Notifier" is it's name and it works with Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Edge.
