I have Madden 22 on Origin. It's a clean Windows 10 installation. It won't start after a short delay before opening again. I've tried both Origin and EA Play AP. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and game several times. I used my main drive and backed it up. I disabled UAC and ran a virus scan. Updated drivers for the video card were installed too. Windows 10 is current. The latest version of Madden is installed, and I checked the game files. Two other games on the GOG app and Origin also work fine. No other problems. Hardware specs: Phenom 2 x6 1065t, 8gb RAM, 500gb SSD, Radeon 7950. Any suggestions? Thanks for reading and your time.

When looking at the specifications against what's suggested for the game, I'd doubt your CPU and GPU choices.

It's uncertain, but usually when it's just hardware that barely meets minimum needs, it still runs at low speed or becomes unstable. Upgrading isn't worth it for this game. Thanks for the reply about what I could understand. I hope someone else has a solution. I noticed many people had similar problems.

When the game was originally installed on a different Windows system, navigate to the game's folder and check for a subfolder named "redist". Place everything there, as it holds all the redistributables required by the game. It might require an older version of VC or DirectX9 runtime.

It's a fresh clean installation with a new download. I put all of them in that folder just in case there were any changes. Thank you.

It looks like the Phenom CPU encounters problems in this game. I'm not updating, thank you for your support.
