I've been trying to trim down my list of startup apps on Windows, and so far it's worked well using Revo Uninstaller's Autorun Manager along with some system tweaks (disabling startup options, msconfig, setting apps to never run in background, etc.). However, Marcum Reflect is a tricky case. I can turn off these settings temporarily, but they come back when I restart the program or reload the app. It seems the issue isn't in the app's own configuration, so I'm unsure how to permanently stop it. Also, any advice on handling apps that refuse to cooperate in the future would be appreciated. How can I manage this annoying behavior? I only use it occasionally—just a few times a year—and don’t need it running every day.

Have you attempted eliminating Macricum Reflect via Task Manager > Startup? Also check the Task Scheduler, as a trigger might be initiating Macrium Reflect.

These were among the initial checks I performed. There was nothing in Task Manager, and everything turned off in msconfig, Start Up apps or Task Manager. It will stay off...until I load the program. Then it starts loading again. Is there a way to make the service indefinitely active and prevent it from turning off? Something about the app itself keeps calling it?

Yes, to all the above. I have looked everywhere I know and found that Marcum would hide an auto run.
And the issue is...I can prevent this from auto running at startup. The problem is, when I load the program, it triggers the start-up process again every time. I’m not sure what’s happening inside the program. Anyone knows?

The specific subset of Macrium Reflect displayed in your 'Startup' is not detailed here.

I can experience delays in loading at startup, yet once I load the program it seems to reload during startup. This behavior appears consistent with what Marcum is doing when I use it. There might be some settings in the program that aren't directly related to these issues (not certain). For example, comparing Marcum Scheduler with Windows Task Scheduler could be relevant, but I don't want to make changes without proper guidance.

I possess the same ones again.
Because my Macrium operates daily, I allow them to function without interference.
Within the broader usage of the system, they exert minimal influence on available resources.

All right, everyone, we'll examine some of these more closely and check back if necessary. Thanks a lot.
